Please allow me to introduce myself to you. My name is Pat Hynes and I am a native of Kylegarriff, Kilnadeema, Loughrea. I am an Independent, Non-Party Public Representative. In 1979 I was elected to Loughrea Town Council. In 1999 I was elected to Galway County Council. Since I entered political life I have continued to do my very best for our people, as a member of both Local Authorities and on the various Groups and Committees, on which I am privileged to serve. |

I was honoured to be elected Mayor of County Galway for 2005/2006. I have also served as Loughea Town Mayor on three occasions 2002/2003 2003/2004 2009/2010 |
